I was painting en plein air at the beach. A little girl ran over to pick the flowers right beside me. Love her chubby pink cheek and the pretty pink dress in the light, picture perfect. I am so grateful that her father was happy for me to take some photos as my next painting inspiration. I even got time to add her in the plain air piece 😍

I love the Shoalhaven area and I was lucky to stay at Gerringong for a while. I went jogging on the beach every morning and love to watch the locals braving the morning chill and surfing when the morning sun just rises. The the energy of the turquoise water is forever a magnet for me. Such beautiful memories 😍😍😍
The cutest thing in Easter 😍We were lucky to stay in a holiday house near a farm where there were lots of new born lambs. They were so energetic, hopping around thinking they were Easter bunnies 😂 Watching the lambs everyday made this holiday so joyful 😍😍😍
Just back from a six-week trip to South America. I found it so funny when I woke up and saw the red light under the TV, my first thought was “oh, crocodile!” Then I realized I was not in Brazil any more and I was a bit disappointed. I never expect this Brazil trip would leave such a huge impact on me. It was like stepping into Zootopia and I’ve never been surrounded by so many wildlife in my life! Love this cheeky Red-spectacled amazon 😍😍😍
We were painting en plein air at the beautiful Pittwater marina. A few families with kids were having a great time besides us. Love to watch the kids enjoy the simple joys of life: sunshine, beautiful bay, scooter race with siblings…life is just beautiful 😎

Beautiful summer days in Hamburg. I like to take a stroll along the Alster and watch all the activities on the lake. Hamburg is a beautiful city with many canals and waterways. It has more bridges than Venice! There are many sailing clubs around the lake and nearly all school kids learn to sail. I found so many painting inspirations but the blooming water lilies caught my eyes. It was 35 degrees, a rare scorching day for Hamburg, but very nice to paint plein air in the shade as there was constant refreshing breeze. Love the reflections of the boat masts dancing like notes on a musical score among the water lilies. A butterfly even landed on my painting briefly. What a beautiful memory of summer days in Hamburg.
