I was taking a stroll in the neighbourhood and noticed this Australian king parrot right beside the road on a low branch that I could almost touch it. It definitely didn’t mind that I stood close and taking a video of it eating the beans. I was totally amazed how dexterous its beak is. A fascinating encounter of nature at the door step. This is the reason I love Australia 😍
Just back from a six-week trip to South America. I found it so funny when I woke up and saw the red light under the TV, my first thought was “oh, crocodile!” Then I realized I was not in Brazil any more and I was a bit disappointed. I never expect this Brazil trip would leave such a huge impact on me. It was like stepping into Zootopia and I’ve never been surrounded by so many wildlife in my life! And I had the cutest toucan encounter! Not sure why the zipper on my pant pocket is so attractive, this cutie jumped beside me and played with it for quite a while. I was super happy to just stand there and enjoy the magic moment 😍😍😍
A perfect day at Sydney Taronga zoo . Watching the chimps arrange the straws before lying down on a cold day really makes us realize how much they are like us. Love how these two are looking at each other as if in love. Have to paint one😍😍😍

Australia just won the first gold medal in the winter Olympic and the name Livigno brought back sweet memories when I lived in North Italy. I went to Dolomites with a group of friends from Rome. I was into skiing but was not good enough to try all the black pista. It was this group of friends who encouraged me and brought me to the tracks that were used in the Winter Olympics. After that, black never scares me any more and it felt reborn with new freedom 😊 Dolomites become one of my most favourite ski destinations and it is beautiful year around. Even painting it makes my heart yearning for its beauty.

Among all the beautiful birds, Hyacinth Macaw is probably my favourite. They are beautiful, they are cheeky, and when they fly, that blue in the sky! They were almost driven to extinction and only a thousand left in the wild once. Thanks to the dedication of many wildlife lovers, we are lucky to be able to see them in the wild again 😍
Got up before six to go jogging. Just love the light in the early morning and this golden moment only last half an hour. This kookaburra definitely enjoys it as well :)

Kangaroo island is one of my most favourite islands. Love the amazing landscape and wildlife. My most favourite part is probably this seal beach where we could watch in relative proximity how the seal relax in their natural habitat. I was so thrilled to capture this mother seal gently kiss her bub, the most beautiful moment of the trip 😍

We were on the train leaving Zermatt. I couldn’t stop snapping photos as the view is as gorgeous as the view of the majestic Matterhorn itself. Love how every turn reveals picturesque landscape. I think I can totally live here for a month and just paint! 😍
